My local radio station is giving out tickets to go to the Barnum and Bailey circus, and I plan to write to them to encourage them to get a refund on the tickets if that is possible. Maybe, just maybe, they'll also talk about why they cannot give tickets out anymore on air.
I am working on the E-mail I am sending to them on the barbaric cruelty that they put their animals through and will post it once it's done. I better get it out quick, though, because they're only doing it this weekend. If I hesitate any, they might give most, if not all, of their tickets away.

This is the letter. I just sent it out. Dear Magic 93 Radio Station, I think it's great that you're giving people the chance to go to the circus, but I do not think you know about the cruelty that the animals for the Barnum and Bailey show go through. According to PETA, they conducted a 2009 investigation on how their animals are treated. They say that they found, "Eight employees, including a head elephant trainer and an animal superintendent…repeatedly hitting elephants in the head, trunk, ears, and other sensitive body parts with bullhooks and other cruel training devices just before the animals would enter the arena for performances. (A bullhook is an elephant-training tool that resembles a fireplace poker.)" They also found "a tiger trainer beating and whipping tigers during dress rehearsals." I was hoping that you’d reconsider giving out the tickets to the Barnum and Bailey circus and instead choose a more animal-friendly circus or another attraction. I am sure that the listeners of Magic 93 will understand why you would discontinue this giveaway. Also according to PETA, “The USDA has at least six open investigations of potential violations of the AWA by Ringling.” If you will not discontinue the giveaway this time, at least consider not supporting them again next time around by not giving out tickets to their show.
