Hey, my name is Ash but I go by the nickname MoonDoggie online. It's a reference to the old school surfer movie Gidget.
I live in Massachusetts and I'm in my first year of community college. I'm majoring in Visual Design and I hope to minor in Organic Farming. I'm 19.
Right now I'm a vegetarian and I'm trying to progress to veganism. I'm 75% there, my only problem is cheese. I'm hoping to buy soy cheese in bulk online becuase my city doesn't sell it.
I'm one of those people who is anal about ingredients. If it contains gelatin or animal broth I won't eat it. I'm kind of surprised to find out that other vegetarians consider this extreme (What?...So checking isn't a common exercise...)
I'm applying Hindu/Buddhists beliefs to my vegetarianism.
I found out about this site through Peta2's board.
