Though it seems they are just trying to keep the media out for their own greedy selves, maybe it's for the animals too? Just think. You are soaked in heavy oil, and are trying to escape the water and take a little stroll. Then all around you all you see are flashing lights and you immediately get scared back into the ocean, where A) The water can drown you from the weight of the oil, and B) You would be out of reach to get cleaned...
Plus, who exactly are taking these pictures? Is it going to be like those sob-sob ASPCA commercials where all they want is money by showing you pictures of ill animals??

Wait I'm confused. I only looked at one article and it was about them not allowing people to take pictures of oil-soaked wildlife... where did vivisectors come from?
