Texture: Pretty good Appearance: Alright. It was so easy to tell that it was fake, however. Taste: Ugh. When I ate these, all I was able to taste was salt. It could've been just me, however. Has anyone else noticed this? I tried finishing my plate of them, but I just couldn't.

They were... Interesting.
It had this odd taste that I just couldn't place. Like... cardboard? Or like bacon fat. A lot like bacon fat, actually. I dunno. All I remember is feeling like I was going to throw it up halfway through the first piece. XP

I tried these in a quieche (is that how you spell it?) my mom and I made. It tasted fairly alright in the dish itself, but I tried one by itself, and it tasted really rubber-y. It was pretty gross.

yuck, I'm glad I never splurged on these as a vegetarian. I think I'll just make my own, vegan with a vengeance had a pretty decent sounding recipe for tofu bacon lol
