I need to know if this was a bad or good thing for me to do. I saw those cute little feeder fish at the local fair, and they looked so miserable, so I wasted five dollars and won two of them, because I wanted them to live with me instead of those nasty conditions. I gave one to my sister, and it eventually died, but mine lived for a year until it contracted a disease from a snail I bought at WetPets. If any of this was wrong or if I did some good, please tell me. I feel uneasy about this sometimes.

By buying animals, you are supporting the supply and demand for them, so more animals will be put in the conditions that the animals you bought were in.
