I wasn't sure if this would go into General or Debates, since nothing here will be able to be backed up by solid hard-core facts, but we'll try anyway?
What are your thoughts on ghosts? How about people who communicate psychically with animals? Or telenkinesis and telepathy? Can the future really be predicted? Share your thoughts and opinions, possibly even stories of encounters or things like that.

I'm personally a major believer in ghosts, as well as the ability to predict the future and pet psychics. A lot of pet psychics that I've seen on Animal Planet seem to have a very good idea of what an animal is thinking. I just saw earlier today that a lady was "talking" to dogs before dog shows, and one dog kept telling her that he missed "the girl who left". Apparently 6 months earlier one of the owner's other dogs had left for show training and stuff, and the psychic hadn't been told about this. That's just one example that I've seen. For future-telling, I was really convinced by a man named Nostradamus*. He wrote quatrains predicting events in the future. I watched a biography on TV once about them, and there's evidence that he predicted 9/11 as well as other things that happened. Ghosts are where I actually have personal expierience, and a lot of it. I have a friend who says she can see ghosts, and I believe her. She's not an attention-seeker or someone who regularly makes up wild stories. I'm also 99% sure that my cats ( Bitty* and Camille*) are haunting me. One of them (Bitty) was put to sleep almost 2 years ago, and the other (Camille) almost 1 year ago. Since my mom put Bitty down, I've noticed that sometimes things on my desk end up on the floor. I've heard and felt something jump onto my bed. Same goes for Camille. This weekend there was a noice like the pots and pans were piled up and knocked over. The dryer door was opened. The floor has been creaking. And the house is empty except for the turtle, the fish, and me. As for telepathy and telekinesis, I don't see why not. If ghosts exist, and pet psychics, then it doesn't seem all that far-fetched in my opinion. * Link

Speaking of strange pet-ghost stories I ahve one. And yeah, I'm totally for all that, I'll explain after my story.
Honey, one of my first cats had feline leukemia or some skin disease, where patches of his skin fell off. We eventually put him down to put him out of his misery. In the house he lived in before his death, the basement is where he spent a lot of time, 1 because its half finished and i liked to hang out down there and 2, the litterbox was down there in the unfinished part. Occasionally I would see a black blob out of the corner of my eye, slightly cat-shaped. I know its Honey, I have that weird gut-feeling.
Some more "facts" if you could call them that to back me up, my great grandma believes herself to be a good witch. Her son, my grandad, has had orb sightings and UFO sightings (thats another story, but I'm also for aliens too!) In that same house I was talking about, my mom told me when I was probably four, I said I saw Indians walking through my hallway. Hmmm.... have a brief memory of that.
I don't know. This is a topic I'm totally for. I don't see how some of these can't like, not exsist.

Aww, our cats are watching out for us. <3
And I'm with the aliens too. It's a big universe, and we can't be the only ones in it. (That also goes for the Loch Ness monster. ^^ It's a breeding colony, and they're good hiders. It's a big lake.)

I believe in everything. So does my mom. Kinda one of those things. I was watching A Haunting on the discovery channel, and it was like the tenth episode I saw when all of a sudden, I was like, This has to be real. There's no way that could be made up. So yah...

Same thing here. I know that it's a TV show and that some parts of it HAVE to be made up. But the Amityville Horror and all that? Plus, most of the A Hauntings seem believable. here just can't be that many people lying for attention...
