The Farm Sanctuary is the ONLY organization in the USA that rescues farm animals! The ONLY one! They have two locations, one in California, and one in New York. I recently went to the New York location and I tell you honestly, these animals are very spoiled. 
They have huge pastures and enclosures, the chickens are free-ranged, it was incredible. There website if I'm not mistaken is www.farmsanctuary.org You can buy online merchandise there, donate, etc. This place is very very cool, and they offer summer camps where you can stay for a week and assist with all the farm chores for about a thousand dollars. I'm saving for it, the price is rather high.
