I don't think I saw this anywhere else on the forum, but if this has already been posted or doesn't belong here go ahead and delete it..
another example of the consequences of human stupidity and cruelty to animals for human "entertainment" :

the picture of the bull being killed at the end of the article made me sick..
why does this festival continue each year when this incidence is a repeat performance of similar incidents that took place in past years? these bulls are obviously suffering, they're obviously agitated, and this is going to continue until these people stop being stupid and find a better form of "entertainment".

I think part of the comment someone sent in on the update at 1:48 PM is just plain idiotic. There are many traditions that should definitely be discontinued, no matter how old they are. Who cares if someone has been doing something for centuries? By defending harmful traditions just because they've been done for a long time, we are hindering much progress.
