Tell Kelloggs to Change their Poptarts Recipe

This was what I wrote:

Dear Kellogs,

When I found out your frosted Poptarts contained gelatin, I was completely disgusted. I used to love Poptarts, but I will no longer eat them after I found out that gelatin is made of the connective tissue of cow bones. There are many alternatives to gelatin, yet you still use gelatin in your icing. I will no longer eat your disgusting Poptarts, until you change the recipe!

Ok, so I was reading the e-book at www.veggie123.com today, and I learned something really interesting about Dr. Kelloggs, the guy who invented corn flakes and all that. HE WAS A HUGE VEG HIMSELF! Infact, that's how the company really got started.

Here the question...don't you think that the company should be concious of the beliefs that founded them?

I agree! I sent them an email yesterday, telling them I wouldn't buy their product until they got rid of the gluten in the poptarts.

I refuse to buy any PopTarts, until they are all gelatin-free. I bet if you put, "contains cow bones" on the packages, far less people would buy them.

Here's my email...and I plan on boycotting all their products, as well. I think we all should...

To Whom It May Concern,
As a Vegetarian, I was appalled to discover that the icing of Poptarts contains gelatin. First of all, this ingredient is disgusting. It's made from COW BONES! Who really wants to eat cow bones (or skin, organs, etc....cause it can also be made of those)? Second, many Vegtarians are unaware about this fact, so they're eating it without their knowledge.
Until the gelatin in your Poptarts is replaced with another ingredient (and there are many alternatives, such as Agar-Agar, guar gum, carrageenan, and Kuzu root), I will be boycotting all your products, in addition to getting all my friends and fellow Vegetarian's to do so. It makes me sick that so many people are eating this product without the knowledge of what's in it, and I will be asking my school to consider not selling them, as well as telling all my peers not to buy them.
And in case you didn't know this, Dr. John Harvey Kelloggs, the early founder of your company, was a supporter of 'biologic living', which forbade things like meat, meat products (gelatin!), spices, and coffee.
