i looked at the website. and in WWF's defense, they are trying to save animals without doing away with things entirely, like PETA with KFC and McDonald's. they aren't trying to do away with those establishments entirely, they are just trying to get some regulations in place. I agree, they should out law trophy hunting and such, but at the same, I can't hate WWF, they're the only ones really doing something about the panda population =/

Still doesn't excuse them from supporting animal testing.

Still doesn't excuse them from supporting animal testing. I know, I wasn't trying to. I can't hate them because they're saving Pandas, but at the same time i'm not going to give them money or buy their things

Chloroform-- They are not the only organization that promotes the panda population. www.pandasinternational.org/wtmg.htmlwww.panda-trust.org.uk/about.htmlThere are many more, so next time, think before you make a generalization. Also, why do you put down ALF and PETA? You obviously have a PETA member icon... and they DO help out with spreading the word and what not. I understand you are expressing your opinion, but all the facts are there that says WWF is mainly in it for the money and publicity. Please don't take this post the wrong way. -Black Dove EDIT: Also, your comment that said, I can't hate them because they're saving pandas... that's like saying I can't hate McDonald's, even though they're slaughtering millions of chickens a day, because I love their french fries.

Wow. That's strange for Greenpeace. I always thought they were okay. To allow whales to be hunted, for them to even say that, is horrible. I don't care if they kill them illegally anyway. Now that the ban has been lifted, these whalers are going to go insane. Tell me, why would they want to "keep to a decreasing quota?" If there is money to be made in the ocean without any laws (screw treaties, these are money-monsters we are talking about), then you know there is going to be more murders. I hope that the Sea Shepherd Crew aren't on board with this...

They wouldn't be. They oppose Greenpeace, as far as I know.

I know Paul Watson does, seeing as they like kicked him out even though he was a co-founder.

Very odd for GP. That said, chloroform, there's nothing wrong with the ALF, at least they're not the ones going around advocating violence towards animals in the name of 'sport'...world wildlife conservation my butt. More like world wildlife fraud.

That's just... awful. I never would have thought that the WWF would support something so horrid, everyone always portrays them as this great organization out to help the wildlife, ect.
It says it's going on in my country too, which ticks me off. I've never been alright with hunting, unless strictly for survival (like in the case of someone dying on an island or other... dramatic circumstances). But trophy hunting is wrong, whether approved by the government or otherwise.
